It costs about $2,000 a month to support a refugee family until they can support themselves.
Donations from community members like you lets Blacksburg Refugee Partnership pay for basics like rent, groceries, household necessities, and transportation, allowing our families a little breathing space while they find work. Our goal is for refugees to become self-reliant quickly. Each family works with a financial supervisor to ensure that no money is wasted.
